Build an icon of modern aviation
The Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II is a remarkable supersonic stealth fighter aircraft, renowned for its advanced technology, distinctive design and short take-off and vertical landing capabilities.
Unlike conventional fighter jets, the F-35B uses an innovative lift fan system that allows it to take off from shorter runways and land vertically, similar to the legendary Harrier Jump Jet.
Operated by the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy, the F-35B plays an important role in modern British military aviation, including operations from the Royal Navy's Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers.
This Airfix Quickbuild kit recreates the aircraft's sleek silhouette, offering an enjoyable way to discover the engineering behind one of the most advanced aircraft in service today.
Easy, mess-free model building
Airfix Quickbuild kits are designed to make model building simple, enjoyable and accessible.
The pre-coloured plastic pieces snap together without the need for glue, paint or specialist modelling tools. Clear, step-by-step colour instructions guide builders through the process, while the included stickers add the finishing touches.
Once assembled, the model is sturdy enough for imaginative play and looks fantastic displayed on its stand.
