Build a legendary aircraft from the Second World War
The Supermarine Spitfire is one of Britain's most celebrated aircraft, renowned for its elegant design, remarkable performance and vital contribution to the Second World War.
Famous for its role during the Battle of Britain in 1940, the Spitfire continued to serve throughout the war, including during the Allied invasion of Normandy on 6 June 1944.
During the D-Day landings, Allied aircraft carried distinctive black and white invasion stripes to help friendly forces identify them in the skies.
This Airfix Quickbuild model recreates the Spitfire with these historic markings, offering an engaging way to discover the aircraft's important role in aviation history.
Easy, mess-free model building
Airfix Quickbuild kits are designed to make model building simple, accessible and enjoyable.
Unlike traditional model kits, the pre-coloured plastic pieces snap together without the need for glue, paint or specialist modelling tools.
The included stickers add the finishing touches, while the rotating propeller makes the completed model even more engaging.
Once assembled, display your Spitfire proudly on the supplied stand or enjoy careful imaginative play.
