Chief British Test Pilot Brian Trubshaw tells the story and gives his perspective of Concorde, from its infancy to its introduction as the only successful supersonic airliner. Re-released for the 50th anniversary of the first flight of the two prototype Concorde's, this book is full of beautiful photographs and fascinating insight. The British prototype took off from Filton airfield on the 9th of April 1969 and the last Concorde to fly, depicted on the cover, landed back in Filton in 2003 where it still resides in a purpose built hangar at Aerospace Bristol.
