Forming a vital component of Britain's post-war integrated air defence protection during the Cold War era, the Bristol Bloodhound surface-to-air radar-guided missile system was intended to protect the integrity of Britain's V-bomber nuclear deterrent force from hostile air attack. The system saw service from 1958 until 1991. This is a reintroduction model.
